Fonte: ASP Europedurante esta sexta-feira decorreu mais uma jornada do Oakley Pro Junior em San Sebastian, País Basco, sendo esta a primeira etapa do circuito europeu Pro Junior.
Tivemos o primeiro round feminino. A portuguesa,Carina Duarte de Ericeira ficou em terceiro lugar no seu heat, tendo sido eliminada, já Ana Sarmento, também de Ericeira, passou em 2º lugar, para os quartas de finais.
Vasco Ribeiro, que nos tem vindo a habitual a excelentes prestações em praias nacionais e internacionais, foi o grande protagonista do segundo dia de competição, tendo ido para a água a primeira ronda da competição feminina e as fases 3 e 4 masculinas.
Graças ao seu ranking, o atual campeão nacional Pro Júnior entrou apenas no round 3. Nesta fase, num heat em que se encontravam Luís Eyre, a representar o Reino Unido, o francês Jordan Oueslati e o atleta de Guadalupe, Andrew Petrelluzzi, Vasquinho deu imediatamente bons indícios, vencendo com um total de 15.77, o melhor do round 3, contando, inclusivamente, com uma nota de 9.10 em 10 pontos possíveis.
